India has urged China to lift a ban on Indian rapeseed meal imports in place since 2011, as it seeks to boost farm exports amid US-China trade tensions. China has already removed tariffs on soybeans, soymeal and rapeseed from five Asian countries, including India, in July.
Potential Indian access to China's feed market could add rapeseed meal supply to Asia, while US tariffs continue to push Chinese buyers toward alternative meal origins.
