India to export first consignment of non-basmati rice to China tomorrow

China has allowed imports of non-basmati rice from India, with a first 100-tonne consignment set to ship from Nagpur to state-owned COFCO. Nineteen Indian rice mills and processing units have been registered for export under a phytosanitary protocol signed in June.
