SovEcon forecasts Russian grain exports of 49.4 million tonnes in 2019-20, up from 44 million in 2018-19, including 38.2 million tonnes of wheat. The Russian Agriculture Ministry separately projected 45 million tonnes of exports, including 36 million of wheat.
Higher Russian export availability adds competition in world wheat markets and is bearish for export prices, supporting cheaper feed wheat for buyers.
