An Econbrowser analysis shows soybean producer prices falling about 17% from mid-2018 levels to May 2019, with US soybean stocks rising after USDA revised end-of-season estimates upward. Global soybean exports were forecast lower as US shipments decline and Argentina's rise only partly offsets it.
Rising US stocks and lower export forecasts point to continued bearish pressure on soybeans and related meal prices, though the analysis attributes the decline to both tariffs and weather.
