Euronext March milling wheat settled up 2.50 euros to 226.00 euros a tonne on Feb. 2, 2021, after an earlier one-week low.
A sale of 240,000 tonnes of French wheat to Egypt, part of a 480,000 tonne GASC tender, revived export sentiment.
Export sales to Egypt support European wheat prices, although Australian shipments to China and a weaker euro partly offset the gains.
