VCCI held a workshop on the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) for Vietnamese businesses, covering preparations, challenges and compliance solutions. Officials said international trade rules are being reshaped around sustainability criteria.
The EUDR is presented as both a compliance challenge and an opportunity for Vietnamese goods.
Exporters must adapt to EUDR traceability requirements, which could raise costs for Vietnamese agricultural exports to the EU, but the direct effect on feed commodity prices is small.
