US grain futures rebounded after USDA quarterly stocks and annual acreage reports came in below expectations. Corn stocks are at their lowest since at least 2015, and drought risks are rising in northwestern US and Canada while wet weather hits parts of the farm belt.
Tighter US stocks and reduced planted acreage raise the risk to global supplies, supporting grain prices into the harvest.
