Argentine farmer sales of corn and soybeans for export more than doubled in the final week of July as the weaker peso lifted domestic soybean prices. Crush margins rose as soyoil prices gained more than 3%, and about 55% of the existing soybean crop had been sold.
Heavier farmer selling of Argentine beans and corn adds export supply, while strong crush margins support meal and oil output, which is bearish for corn and mildly bearish for soymeal prices in export markets.
