US natural gas futures turned positive on October 3 as forecasts for cooler weather later in the month raised expected heating demand. The rise came despite a 112 bcf storage build, slightly above analyst expectations.
Expectations of colder weather support gas demand and prices, although a larger-than-expected storage build limits the gain.
