South African maize spot prices rose 1.4% to 1.6% week on week, and maize exports continued through the season. US corn futures rose after USDA reported smaller-than-expected yellow corn supplies, and wheat production was cut 5.72% in the CEC's second estimate.
A smaller USDA corn supply and a cut in South African wheat output support higher feed grain prices.
