A Tift County Extension update reports NOAA outlooks showing a continued trend toward warmer-than-normal temperatures in the Southeast for November and the November-January period. Precipitation has no strong signal, and the CPC expects some of the current Southeast drought to ease over winter.
Reduced winter drought stress is generally neutral for US feed crops, which are mostly dormant, so the price implication is minimal.
