Rail blockades created huge tab for Canadian grain producers, industry says

Canadian grain industry groups estimate rail blockade costs will reach roughly C$300 million by the time network capacity normalizes, which could take 12 to 14 weeks. Grain backlogs totaled about 1.25 million tonnes as of the prior week.
