G3 Global Holdings opened a new high-speed grain export terminal in North Vancouver, the first new Vancouver-area grain terminal since the 1960s. It is designed to unload trains faster and link Canadian Prairie grain with China and Indonesia, with wheat and canola as priority commodities.
Faster West Coast export capacity could shift Canadian wheat and canola flows toward Asia, modestly supporting Canadian grain basis and freight demand while China trade remains constrained.
