The OCP Group, Morocco's state-linked phosphate producer, welcomed the USITC's decision to continue the investigation into its phosphate fertilizer imports. OCP called the petition flawed and said US customers and farm-state officials are raising concerns about the proposed countervailing duties.
The response signals a contested case that could still change US phosphate import flows, but at this early stage it does not by itself alter supply or prices.
