Oklahoma feeder cattle auction volumes were highly variable in February and March as dual-purpose wheat grazing ended. A February winter storm closed many auctions, and a very large volume of 45,702 head sold in the first week of March.
Seasonal wheat grazing terminations and weather-related sale disruptions shift short-term feeder supplies, with modest effects on feeder cattle prices.
