Major currencies traded in a narrow range on Thursday as markets weighed European Central Bank comments on rate policy. The ECB kept its policy unchanged and gave little clarity on how it would withdraw stimulus.
The euro was about 0.24% lower at $1.2007 while the dollar index rose 0.28% to 91.355.
Choppy, directionless currency moves keep the dollar index near recent levels, so there is no clear pressure on dollar-denominated grain and oilseed prices from this development.
