Brent and crude traded higher as markets worried about fuel supply through the winter. Tight distillate supply from OPEC+ cuts and the EU embargo on Russian oil has pushed refinery margins and prompt spreads sharply higher.
Tight distillate markets point to higher diesel and heating oil prices into winter, raising fuel and transport costs for feed buyers. Crude strength also supports energy-linked input costs.
