US June headline CPI rose 5.4% y/y, the highest since 2008, and core CPI rose 4.5%, the largest gain since 1991. The dollar rallied and USD/MXN climbed from 19.88 to 20.06, with part of the move attributed to Mexican energy policy concerns.
