Emerging market currencies gained on Sept 30 as central banks kept tightening policy. The Czech crown rose about 1% against the euro after a 75 basis point hike, and the Polish zloty rose after minutes suggested a rate rise may be imminent.
The dollar was near one-year highs, while Mexico and Colombia were expected to hike by 25 basis points.
