COCERAL trimmed its 2021 EU-27+UK crop forecast to 312.6 million tonnes from 315.1 million, with wheat cut to 143.4 million tonnes and barley to 60.3 million. Corn was raised to 67.3 million tonnes on upward revisions for Poland, Germany and the Balkans.
Smaller wheat and barley crops tighten European feed grain and milling supplies, supporting prices, while higher corn output partly offsets this and may limit imports of corn into the region.
