FCC's final 2021 broiler outlook says Canadian chicken producer gross revenues are expected to rise year over year. Higher live chicken prices reflect rising feed costs from limited grain supply and strong global feed grain demand.
Canadian slaughter has fully rebounded and is above the 2015-2019 average.
