Oil fell about 2% on Monday, with Brent at $86.27 and WTI at $83.31, as a stronger dollar and Fed rate-hike expectations weighed. Geopolitical risk from Ukraine tensions and Houthi missile attacks on the UAE provided some support.
Higher rates and a firmer dollar weigh on energy, which feeds into biofuel and input costs for feed and oilseed markets. Geopolitical premiums limit the downside.
