US ethanol exports fell 13% in March to 125.1 million gallons, the lowest March total in six years, with Canada as the top customer for the twelfth month. DDGS exports were 927,134 tons, up 6%, and first-quarter DDGS exports reached 2.9 million tons, the largest first quarter since 2017.
Robust first-quarter DDGS exports support feed co-product demand and firm values. Softer ethanol exports signal weaker overseas fuel demand, which could limit corn grind growth.
