Ukraine and Russia agreed on July 22 to let grain and agricultural exports resume from selected Black Sea ports after a months-long blockade. About 22 million tonnes of stored wheat, corn and other grain in Odesa and nearby ports can now move.
Releasing large volumes of stored Ukrainian grain adds export supply to a tight world market, which is bearish for wheat and corn prices and eases feed-grain supply concerns.
