US Trade Representative Katherine Tai testified before the House Ways and Means Committee on trade issues. She said the administration has pursued two USMCA cases against Canada's dairy tariff-rate quotas and is challenging Mexico's restrictions on biotech corn.
Tai also said the administration secured over $21 billion in new agricultural market access in three years.
Active dispute cases on Mexican biotech corn and Canadian dairy access bear on US corn export flows to Mexico and dairy trade, but no new ruling or tariff change is announced.
