The Delhi High Court dismissed a rice exporter's appeal and upheld a ban on exporting 11,000 MT of banned non-basmati white rice. The exporter had not met the conditions for an exemption under the July 2023 notification.
The ruling is a legal enforcement of existing curbs and does not change export availability much, so its price effect is minimal.
