CLEVER researchers published a study in Nature Ecology & Evolution warning that the EUDR may clash with Brazil's Amazon Soy Moratorium. The gap between EUDR cut-off dates and the moratorium could create unintended consequences for Brazilian soy supply chains.
If EUDR and Brazil's soy moratorium conflict, some soy could be excluded from EU markets, tightening compliant supply and supporting premiums for verified soy.
