Cal-Maine Foods, the largest US egg producer, reported fiscal 2024 sales down about 26% to $2.3 billion amid lower egg prices and bird flu outbreaks in Kansas and Texas. The company is acquiring assets to expand cage-free and specialty egg production and expects repopulation of affected facilities by year-end.
