Argentina's trains, subways, flights, grain shipments and banks were disrupted on Thursday as unions held a general strike against President Javier Milei's austerity policies. Grain deliveries were interrupted during the strike.
Halted grain shipments from Argentina, a major exporter of soymeal, soyoil and corn, reduce available supply in the short run and can support global meal and oil prices.
