A US federal court ruled that the Trump tariffs are illegal, adding uncertainty to world feed markets. UK feed costs fell to pre-pandemic levels in May, with soya down £35/t since April and feed wheat at its lowest levels.
The ruling could disrupt US-China trade talks and weigh on soy prices, while ample South American supply and slow US export sales already pressure feed ingredient costs.
