SABIC Agri-Nutrients said that third-quarter urea supply will stay limited even with ongoing Chinese exports. It expects prices to keep firming on seasonal demand from India, Oceania, Brazil and Europe.
The company also sold several spot cargoes after Israel-Iran conflict caused regional production outages.
Limited Q3 supply and seasonal import demand point to continued upward pressure on urea prices, which raises nitrogen costs for corn and other feed grain producers.
