Basis flat as farmer selling increases slightly

Spot hard red winter wheat basis was steady in the southern Plains on Wednesday. Bangladesh approved the purchase of about 220,000 tonnes of US wheat as part of efforts to ease trade tensions and reduce tariffs.

Demand from that purchase helped lift K.C. wheat futures, which encouraged some farmer selling.
