France's agriculture ministry raised its soft wheat harvest forecast to 33.1 million tons, up from 32.6 million, a 29% rise over the 2024 crop. It expects grain maize output to fall 5.6% to 13.9 million tons because drought and heat reduced yields, despite more planted area.
