USDA's September 2025 WASDE raised 2025/26 U.S. corn production despite a lower yield, as planted and harvested acres increased. Soybean production also rose on higher acreage even though yield was cut, and ending stocks came in above trade expectations.
Bigger-than-expected U.S. corn and soybean supplies add to ending stocks, which weighs on feed grain and meal prices and reduces the premium buyers pay for near-term supply.
