Ukraine's grain exporters say repeated Russian strikes on ports, rail and energy infrastructure have made logistics unpredictable and doubled transport costs. The Kremenchuk to Barcelona route now averages about $60 per ton, up from about $30 before the full-scale invasion.
Ukraine has still exported roughly 100 million tons of agricultural products through its corridor.
Higher freight costs and rerouting cut Ukraine's effective export competitiveness, supporting Black Sea wheat and corn prices against other origins. Continued strikes on ports could tighten global supply further.
