Winter crop conditions across Europe and the Maghreb remain generally favourable, though an extreme late-January cold spell raised winterkill concerns in eastern Poland, the Baltics and western Ukraine. Excess rain in western France, Italy, Spain and Portugal replenished soil moisture but caused some localized flooding.
Mixed conditions with localized frost and waterlogging risks add some uncertainty to EU output, but overall prospects limit upside for European feed grain prices.
