Wheat futures rose 25 to 30 cents, with hard red winter and hard red spring wheat hitting new contract highs. Dry US Plains conditions and tight global fertilizer supplies were cited as drivers, and corn was also higher.
Dryness in key wheat areas and possible acreage cuts abroad tighten world wheat supplies, and corn tends to follow wheat higher.
