Ukragroconsult reprints the World Grain report that the USDA FAS expects Australia's 2026/27 wheat output to fall to 29 million tonnes from 36 million. The decline comes from 4.8% less harvested area and lower yields.
Wheat exports are projected at 23.5 million tonnes, 2.5 million lower year on year.
A roughly 20% smaller Australian crop and lower exports reduce global wheat supply and support prices.
