Brazil is closing in on Argentina as the top soybean meal exporter, with projected first-half 2026 exports of 12.3 million tonnes versus 13.3 million for Argentina, according to a Rosario exchange report. Brazil's expanding crushing capacity, boosted by biodiesel demand, is adding meal supply, and meal export prices are down about 10% from their May peak.
Growing Brazilian meal supply and falling export prices add bearish pressure on global meal markets and squeeze Argentine processor margins, which could limit support for soybean prices.
