Statistics Canada's June field crop survey puts Canadian canola area at a record 23.4 million acres, up 8.4% on the year. Wheat area is forecast down 5.9% to 25.3 million acres, below trade estimates, while barley, soybeans and corn are expected to rise and oats, lentils and dry peas to fall.
