Argus expects French wheat exports to non-EU destinations to fall to no more than 6 million tonnes in 2026-27, from 7.6 million in 2025-26. French corn is seen at only 6.9 million tonnes, which will push feed producers to substitute feed wheat, and French wheat output is put at 30.8 million tonnes.
Lower French exports reduce world wheat supply available to importers, while feed users switching to wheat tightens the wheat market and supports corn and feed grain prices.
