Korean media report that HPAI, ASF and foot-and-mouth disease are spreading at once, with all livestock crisis warnings at the highest level. Over 9.8 million laying hens were culled to AI in winter, and more than 150,000 pigs have been culled to ASF this year.
Large layer and pig culls reduce domestic output and push up meat prices, while import demand for feed and protein may rise to offset the shortfall.
