South Korea's quarantine authorities are on high alert as HPAI, African swine fever and foot-and-mouth disease spread simultaneously. All three remain at the highest of four alert levels, and the special quarantine period was extended by one month through March.
Supply disruption from the three diseases is expected to lift Korean livestock prices and may reduce demand for imported feed ingredients if herds are culled.
