GAPKI and the palm oil plantation fund board said the EU still relies on imports of vegetable oils despite the EU Deforestation-Free Regulation taking effect in 2023. Indonesian officials said biodiesel demand in Europe is rising and Indonesia must improve sustainability to keep its share.
