Indonesia's finance minister said the country will adjust its crude palm oil export tax to reduce the burden on exporters. Indonesia currently imposes an export tax of up to $288 per ton on crude palm oil, depending on price levels, plus separate export levies.
Lowering the export tax cuts exporter costs and can support Indonesian palm oil competitiveness and export volumes, which tends to be supportive for palm oil prices.
