Clean Fuels Alliance America filed comments asking EPA to keep the proposed 2026-2027 biomass-based diesel volumes, which reach 5.61 billion gallons in 2026, more than two billion gallons above 2025. The group says domestic biodiesel and renewable diesel capacity has doubled since 2020.
Sustained high biomass-based diesel volumes would keep demand for domestic soybean oil and other fats strong, supporting feedstock prices.
