NOPA and the American Soybean Association sent a joint letter to President Trump on Nov. 12 urging finalization of biofuel policies, including strong biomass-based diesel volumes in the RFS and limits on RFS credits for foreign feedstocks.
They also asked Treasury to finalize 45Z clean fuel credit guidance without delay.
Finalizing supportive biofuel rules would lift domestic soybean oil demand and crush margins, which supports soybean oil and soybean prices.
