Argentine truckers ended a protest that had paralyzed the Quequen grain port after reaching an agreement with farmers for a 16% freight rate increase. The port handles about 20% of Argentina's soybean exports.
The blockade had blocked access roads to the hub.
Resolution of the blockade restores export loading capacity at a port handling a fifth of Argentine soy exports, easing logistics bottlenecks and reducing near-term upward pressure on freight and soy export premiums.
