The U.S. seasonal drought outlook shows drought remaining minimal across most of the Midwest through the fall. Only about 9% of corn area and 8% of soybean area were affected by drought as of July 22.
A benign drought outlook through the critical August soybean and July corn development stages reduces supply risk and weighs on prices.
