The Netherlands has rejected at least two Argentine soybean meal cargoes this month after finding non-approved genetically modified material. The rejections threaten a major trade flow from Argentina to Europe.
Lost Argentine meal sales to the EU tighten supply for other origins and support US meal and soybean prices. Argentine basis and export volumes are likely to stay under pressure while the dispute continues.
